What it is
Gen whispered. And twelve forces answered.
That is the entirety of the event. That is also the entirety of existence. Everything that has ever been, in any of the one hundred trillion worlds across the Vorticlese, is downstream of that single moment — the moment Gen expressed, and the Twelve became what they were always going to be.
Gen is not a god in the way that word is usually understood. Gen is the Manifester. The Source. The origin point from which the Twelve emerged — not created, not commanded, but called. There is a distinction. The Twelve were not made. They were recognized.
Known Properties
The Twelve are not beings who govern physics. They are physics — universal constants given consciousness and will. Twelve expressions of fundamental force made manifest, each one necessary for creation to sustain itself.
Without Baraakuum, there is no gravity. Without Aeooneh, cause does not precede effect. Without Ankhiios, nothing lives. Without all twelve operating in precise concert, not one of the one hundred trillion worlds holds its shape for a single moment.
Gen does not govern a single domain. Gen imparts to those who impart. And Gen does not destroy what Gen creates — which is why the fallen Ver must be bound rather than unmade.
What Came From It
The Twelve became their domains. Physics became real. The Vorticlese became possible. One hundred trillion worlds arranged themselves in the geometry that Baraakuum holds, in the time that Aeooneh measures, in the light that Fiirili sustains.
The Book of the Eterna was written to observe them — because a universe unwatched is a universe unstable. The Twelve required a witness. Gen provided one.
Status
Gen is silent. When Gen went silent, the witness was lost — and the Book was stolen — and three thousand years of consequence followed from those two facts alone.
The Twelve remain. The physics hold. But the Source is quiet.
And a universe without its origin point speaking is a universe holding its breath.
