The Scrimuraa
The universe's own self-documentation.
Classification: Dimensional artifact — origin class · The 13th Anchor
Origin stratum: The Ver · Made from materials of Padyrisia
Also designated: The Book of the Eterna · The Observer · The Record That Keeps Reality Real
Ancient name: Scrimurraa — skrim-ur-AH-ah — the Araclean designation, older than any other title it has been given
Status: The physical copy is three thousand years out of date. The true Scrimurraa has never stopped recording.
What it is
The Scrimurraa was not made. It was not written. It was not commissioned.
It emerged. Mathematically inevitable — the natural consequence of twelve physics principles unfolding simultaneously from a single source. When the Twelve were manifested and their domains began expressing themselves, the mathematics of their collective properties required a record to exist. And so one did.
Gen did not create the Scrimurraa. Gen's whisper created the conditions. The Scrimurraa created itself.
It is not a book someone wrote about the universe. It is the universe's own self-documentation — a dimensional property as fundamental as gravity or light.
Known Properties
The Scrimurraa is the 13th Anchor. Not a place. Not a being. The Observer — the one who keeps one hundred trillion worlds real by simply knowing they exist. In the same way that observation changes outcomes in quantum physics, the Scrimurraa changes the cosmoplex by witnessing it. A universe unwatched is a universe unstable.
Its pages exist in quantum superposition. To ordinary beings they appear blank, like shifting sand. To the Eterna — the Observer, the one trained to read it — the pages render into visible Araclean script in response to spoken roots. Gravity words make the ink feel heavy. Time words slow perception. Fire words warm the paper. Void words create silence.
To turn a page is to move a star. To close the Book is to rest the mind of the Archons.
Handle with absolute stillness.
What Came From It
When the physical copy was stolen from the Ver three thousand years ago, it stopped recording the moment it left. What Vesper took was a snapshot — a crystallization of the Scrimurraa at the moment of its removal. Three thousand years of cosmic events are not in that copy. It is three thousand years out of date.
And yet the physics it contains are still true. Gravity did not change. The gates did not change. The Madrical did not change. The universe updated. The book did not. But the instructions still work.
Status
The true Scrimurraa is still in the Ver. Still connected. Still recording. It has never stopped. Three thousand years of events — dimensional shifts, gate activations, the arrival of a child from another world — all of it recorded in the true Scrimurraa.
The physical copy is on its way home.
What the true Scrimurraa will show when it is finally consulted — what three thousand years of silence looks like from the inside of the record that witnessed all of it — that is not yet known.
That is Book Seven territory.
