What It Is
The Madrical is the dimensional containment space created to hold Vanquiesh after his corruption could no longer be ignored. Not a cell. Not a cage. A pocket dimension engineered for something that cannot be destroyed.
Gen does not destroy what Gen creates. This is not a limitation. It is the most demanding form of moral integrity available to a creator — the choice to bear permanent responsibility for consequence rather than the finality of elimination. The Madrical exists because that law held. Because it cost more to contain than to unmake, and the Ver paid that cost anyway.
It was used exactly once. There has never been anything else like it.
The Incomplete Manifestation
It takes all twelve Ver in harmony to manifest anything in the Vorticlese. The Madrical was manifested by eleven Ver only — deliberately.
Vanquiesh's physics frequency — fire, light, spirit — is the absent ingredient. Because his frequency is not present in the Madrical's construction, he has no point of resonance with it. No angle of attack. No leverage. He cannot exert force against walls that contain nothing of himself.
The act required the agreement of the remaining eleven Ver to proceed without the twelfth. An exception to the fundamental order of how things come into being. It cannot be replicated.
The Lock
The Madrical was placed directly by Gen. The lock requires the Scrimurraa to open — the Book of the Eterna, stolen three thousand years ago by a Talizel named Vesper, before the ritual pages were torn out and destroyed.
The pages that could open this lock are missing. Vesper memorized them completely before removing them. He has never included them in any reconstruction.
The lock stands.
