World 

A planet whose six sibling worlds within the NOS system exert gravitational influence so significant that the ground itself shifts constantly. Strange tidal terrain. Eerie rather than cold. Nothing sits completely still. The other six worlds are present to Septem not as visible geography but as force — felt profoundly in the body, in the ground, in the air. Their presence in Septem's sky is as extraordinary points of light moving against the fixed star field. Existence on Septem has always been shaped by the gravitational conversation of others. It is the fundamental condition of being alive here.

Veil 

The unexpected opposite of a world defined by constant gravitational conversation is total cosmological isolation. Not merely stillness — the complete and suffocating absence of any other pull. One horizon. One sky. Nothing pulling from any direction. The specific wrongness is not the quiet — it is the aloneness. For any being whose existence has always been shaped by the presence of others, the sudden absence of that pull is not peace. It is amputation. The Gaadrinee move through this isolation as though they have always been its only inhabitants.

Gate 

The Gate of Harmony demands the diminishment of self-sufficiency as the condition of passage. To give from genuine abundance and trust the system of others — even when that trust requires surrendering what feels most essential to survival — is a Solbreth requirement. Harmony is not the absence of difference. It is what difference produces when it cooperates. The gate does not open for the one who has managed the situation. It opens for the one who has genuinely released their grip on going it alone.

Beings 

The Gaadrinee (gah-DREE-nee). Upon entrance into the veil, they manifest automatically — forms of fluid essence constantly reforming, liquid and oil dancing in a single substance, maintaining the cohesion of every molecule in service of their absolute law: equilibrium. They are an external threat of the coldest possible kind. They do not accuse. They do not engage emotionally. They calculate. They assess what disrupts the equilibrium of the system and they remove it — without hatred, without hesitation, without any concept of mercy as a relevant variable. The only passage is demonstrating that cooperation and interdependence serve the equation better than elimination does.

Challenge 

The Gaadrinee stand between the entrance to the veil and the gate itself — patient, precise, and entirely without sentiment. The isolation of the veil compounds their threat: there is no sense of anyone else anywhere, nothing pulling, nothing present — which means the temptation to collapse inward and self-protect is at its most powerful exactly when the gate requires the opposite. The gate opens only when self-sufficiency has been genuinely surrendered, not strategically managed.
