What They Are
Before the first world had a name, before the first conscious being drew breath across any of one hundred trillion worlds, there were twelve forces. Not forces in the mechanical sense — not invisible pressures acting on matter from outside. Forces as consciousness. Forces as will. Forces as beings who are, in their very nature, the physics they govern.
Gravity is not something Baraakuum controls. Baraakuum is gravity. Time is not something Aeooneh manages. Aeooneh is time. Each of the Twelve Ver is a universal constant given consciousness — the source code that allows any world to exist at all. Without them, collectively and simultaneously present, the Vorticlese does not hold. One hundred trillion worlds in their precise geometric positions, sustained by twelve beings who are the reason those positions exist.
They are not distant. They are not decorative. They are the architecture of everything. And for three thousand years, they have been silent.
